Monette Music at the Miracle Movie
My brother Dave Monette is one of several geniuses we have in the family. According to Wynton Marsalis, Dave is "the greatest trumpet maker in the world".
Dave's friend, Mark Isham, composed the film score for the new Disney movie "Miracle" with "outrageous trumpet parts" to be played by Calvin Price, the principal trumpet in the movie's orchestra. Calvin plays them on his new PRANA STC-1 C trumpet made by brother Dave.
Monette trumpets are played by professional trumpet players all over the world. This isn't the first time one has been played in the movies, but it's the latest and I wanted to take this opportunity to brag about my baby brother.
Now, when you see this movie and hear the trumpet, you can impress your friends by telling them that you read the blog of the sister of the guy who made the trumpet. Wow.

God,
